We are Bells From Everest - a unique enterprise founded on an astonishing idea: We're the worlds
first and only creator of environmental art sculptures made from oxygen cylinders abandoned by
climbers on Mount Everest.
Our beautiful bells, bowls, and The Everest Ornament come literally from the top of the world and
are sold in art galleries across North America (as well as this website).
We're very proud of what we do at Bells From Everest. Our work generates income for Himalayan Sherpas,
removes and recycles waste from what should be the planet's most pristine environments, and graces the
homes of environmentally conscious art lovers everywhere. We continue to work toward our ultimate goal
of returning the project to Nepal. To give Nepalese artists the necessary tools to produce the bells
would create a micro-economy while continuing Jeff's original plan of cleaning cylinders from the
mountain and the piles of them stacked in dumps in Nepal.
The greatest gift from our hard work has been our ability to give back to our community, locally and
globally. In small ways Bells From Everest and The Everest Ornament have supported numerous schools
and fund-raising groups. Our primary purpose at Bells From Everest was to take something that was
left as waste and turn it into something beautiful. We continue with that message with The Everest
Ornament which was created to utilize the last remaining scraps of aluminum spinning off the lathe.
